This procedure describes the basic setting procedure for the DCC suspension. This is necessary if the vehicle has been lowered or repairs have been carried out on the suspension.
After a repair or lowering with springs, it is important that the vehicle is driven for a while so that the suspension can "settle".
Start VCDS
Create control unit image (measured values)
[Applications] > [Control unit image]
Use the following settings:
[Select] >
[14 - Suspension electronics] >
[Security Access-16]: 20103 >
[Basic setting-04] >
Select "IDE04893-learn-with-suspended-wheels"
Now raise the vehicle so that all wheels are suspended in the air. Then carry out the basic setting via [Start]. The process does not end automatically, so press [Stop] after 30 seconds. Then lower the vehicle again and carry out a test drive. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
